The
headquarters of charity Deafblind UK has been designed as a ‘model’
facility for disabled access and use.
With large numbers
of visitors to the building being hard of hearing, ensuring clarity
of voice reproduction was an essential requirement of the design
brief.
The solution involved a complex PA system, zoned for presentation/meeting
areas and for PA announcement throughout the building and
powered by a bank of Inter-M A-120 amplifiers.
The system has
now enhanced the teaching and conferencing facilities, allowing
for greater flexibility and increased revenue for the charity from
educational, corporate and private usage. |
